Books about cooking, not to be confused with cooking books

I’m currently reading “The Sharper Your Knife, The Less You Cry” by Rebecca Flinn (read an excerpt here – http://kathleenflinn.com/sharper.html). And although I bought this book sometime in 2008, I was just recently reunited with it via a bag of books that  my mom had stolen from me … obviously quite some time ago.

So I’m reading this book that follows Flinn’s culinary life at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris. I am about halfway done and have read through about 12 chapters/recipes so far. One thing that I love about this book is that every chapter ends with a recipe – some of which I will try for you guys.

The one that I’m most excited to try so far is the Jambalaya. Check back soon and I’ll post the recipe and my results.
